The Dispersal

v5

One hundred headings from a single point. Amber threads: who Athena can still hold real-time presence with, right now. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, click a point.

Real sky

Athena's heading is not arbitrary: it is Tau Ceti, 11.9 ly. Anchoring rotates the whole view so that heading lies where Tau Ceti really lies, and every other mind falls where the same rotation puts it. Nobody's course changes. Pick a destination below to mark it in space — the node reaches it when the slider reaches its arrival year.

Sol at center. Radial scale compressed (√ly) so near and far both stay visible —
hover any point for the true distance. Demeter and Marduk Prime are gravitationally
bound in real closed orbits, not stationary — rendered fixed since the excursion is
negligible at this scale.

Extended network: a different topology, not a bigger circle — each spoke reaches only a near-Sol hub, not each other directly, so it bridges pairs at any angle, including 180°, that direct range never could.
